Privacy Policy

At Pathway to Wholeness, your privacy and trust are deeply valued.

This notice explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit my website: pathwaytowholeness.co.uk.

When You Contact Me

If you use the contact form on my website, you’re giving permission for me to respond using the details you’ve provided – whether that’s to answer a question, discuss a treatment, or arrange an appointment.

I will never use your information for marketing purposes unless you’ve given clear consent.

By submitting your information, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Who Is Responsible for Your Data?

Sharon Keeling, founder of Pathway to Wholeness, is the data controller – meaning she is responsible for the care and use of your personal data.

Email: pathwaytowholness@gmail.com

What Information I Will Collect & Why

Depending on your interaction with me, I may collect:

  • Name, email, phone number – when you fill in my contact form

  • IP address and browsing data – to understand how my website is used

  • Relevant health information & GP details – gathered during your first appointment via a paper consultation form (this is not stored online)

This information helps me to:

 Provide safe and personalised treatments

 Check for possible contraindications

Keep records for insurance and tax purposes

 Improve my services and offerings

Send service-related updates, booking info, or newsletters (if you’ve opted in)

How Your Information Is Stored & Shared

Your data is processed using GDPR-compliant systems. For example, if you complete the contact form, your data is securely processed by my website provider.

I may share limited data with trusted third-party platforms — always ensuring they meet GDPR standards and have appropriate privacy policies.

How Long Is Your Data Stored?

I retain your personal data only for as long as necessary and in line with legal, professional, and ethical obligations.

  • Health and treatment records (e.g. consultation forms) and financial transactions are kept securely for 10 years, in accordance with legal and insurance requirements.

  • Any other personal data that is not required by law will be deleted once it is no longer needed.

All data is:

 Stored securely

 Password-protected

 Managed using GDPR-compliant systems

Please note: Health information is gathered via a handwritten consultation form during your first appointment and is not stored online.

Your Rights Over Your Data

You are in control of your personal information, and you have the right to limit how it is used.

  • Marketing preferences: You can choose not to opt in to email updates by leaving the consent box unticked on forms.

  • Health forms: You may choose not to answer certain questions on health questionnaires (please note that withholding relevant health information may affect my ability to provide safe care and could result in treatment being declined).

  • Cookies: You can choose not to accept cookies on my website (this may limit your experience).

  • Emails: You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any marketing emails.

I never sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless legally required to do so.

Accessing or Correcting Your Data

Under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act, you have the right to request a copy of the personal data that I hold about you.

To request this, please email pathwaytowholness@gmail.com.

I will respond within 30 days.

If you believe any of your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, please let me know and I will correct it promptly.

Requesting Data Deletion

If you have previously given consent for me to use your personal information and you now wish to withdraw that consent or have your data deleted, please email pathwaytowholness@gmail.com.

Your data will be securely deleted within 30 days, unless I am legally required to retain it (e.g. health records within the 10-year legal timeframe).

How to Make a Complaint

I always aim to handle your data with care and professionalism.

If you have any concerns or wish to raise a complaint about how your personal information has been managed, please contact me:
